Senior Project Manager, PMP Certified

State of California experience is required

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS (MQ)

• A minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying Project Management (PM) principles, methods, techniques, and tools. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects. OR eleven (11) years, if substituting Bachelor's degree for additional qualifying experience.
• Possess (a) a bachelor’s degree, OR *Additional qualifying experience (of MQ #1 above) may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Possess a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience.
• Six (6) years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience managing State government IT projects of at least medium size, scope, and complexity – i.e., projects with budgets of $5 Million to $10 Million, impacting 400 – 600 program office users, and durations of 1 - 3 years for the implementation of one or more technology solutions in support of business requirements, under oversight of CDT and/or California Health and Human Services (CalHHS) Agency.
• Key Staff has (6) years of experience managing software development and/or Software as a Service (SaaS) configuration projects by leveraging an Agile or hybrid (combination of Waterfall and Agile) approach.
