Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Job Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (Remote)

Responsibilities:

1. Building and maintaining business process automations using a variety of SFDC tools.
2. Building and sharing reports and dashboards.
3. Building and maintaining SFDC-based portals.
4. Building and iterating on custom object schema and relationships to meet specific use cases.
5. Supporting the implementation and integration of third-party solutions.
6. Adhering to industry best practices for change and release management.
7. Assisting, developing, and maintaining training materials and training curriculum.
8. Practicing continuous improvement by constantly monitoring systems and making recommendations or adjustments where beneficial to our staff.
9. Building sophisticated reports in Salesforce to answer high-level business questions.
10. Performing other related duties as assigned that support the objective of the position.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

1. Ability to effectively translate prioritized needs into well-designed scalable solutions.
2. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
3. Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.
4. Ability to prioritize a backlog and manage time efficiently.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Deep knowledge of declarative tools in Salesforce including all process automation tools.
7. An advanced understanding of Salesforce's data security model.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Three to five years of professional experience building with Salesforce.
3. Current credential as “Salesforce Certified Administrator” or “Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.”
4. Experience with Agile methodologies, including working within a sprint framework.
5. Team player and ability to mentor developers with lesser experience.
6. Ability to work from home, the Alexandria office, and the Ashburn office.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Additional Salesforce Platform Developer certifications a plus.
2. “Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder” credential.
3. Experience working with external system integrations.
4. 5+ years of experience in Salesforce design, configuration, and custom development.
