Job summary

The Boyd Group is hiring an Automotive ADAS Technician in MI Utica, responsible for customer interaction, vehicle testing, ADAS calibrations, and service invoicing. You will manage inventory, support staff communications, and maintain shop equipment while upholding brand standards.

The role requires 4+ years in automotive/electronic tech, plus skills with OE scan tools and wiring repair procedures. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a willingness to learn new tools and procedures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to learn new tools and procedures.
• Knowledge of OE scan tools.

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Performs wiring repairs.
• Advises shop of needed repairs.
• Keeps inventory of stock and communicates with support staff for orders.
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices and collects payment.
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office.
• Keeps shop equipment operating and troubleshoots breakdowns.
