Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager to own the delivery roadmap for BlueCruise and Situational Awareness features from concept to field support.

You will align roadmaps with critical platform deliverables, manage dependencies across mechanical, electrical, and software domains, and drive risk mitigation with data-driven decisions. Strong leadership and execution capabilities are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Technical Program/Project Management experience in automotive, ADAS, robotics, or complex embedded software systems.
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end delivery of safety-critical systems across systems engineering, software development, and V&V.
  • Deep understanding of ADAS architecture, sensor fusion, perception/prediction pipelines, and vehicle control interfaces.
  • Experience managing cross-functional dependencies across mechanical, electrical, and software domains without direct authority.
  • Strong command of Systems and Software delivery frameworks; experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Exceptional analytical, systems thinking, and executive communication skills.
  • Direct experience with BlueCruise, Super Cruise, SAE Level 2/2+ hands-free, or Level 3/4 systems.
  • Hands-on exposure to Powertrain and Motion Control integration for ADAS control loops.
  • Knowledge of SOTIF (ISO 21448), Cybersecurity (ISO 21434), and Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
  • Experience leading program transformation, metrics-driven delivery, or scaling engineering teams in fast-paced tech/automotive environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the delivery roadmap for BlueCruise and Situational Awareness features from concept through post-launch releases and field monitoring.
  • Align roadmaps to Platform & Program deliverables, supplier software integration and validation timelines, and internal development gates.
  • Drive solutions to cross-functional, cross-domain risks and dependencies within Ford and with supplier partners.
  • Proactively identify integration risks, negotiate trade-offs, and elevate blockers with clear technical context and recommended paths forward.
  • Present technical development status, risks, and recommendations to senior ADAS, Platform, and Program leadership.
  • Own delivery and health metrics and drive corrective actions with data-backed rationale.
  • Serve as the technical integrator across the BlueCruise stack.
  • Partner with Systems Engineering teams to ensure requirements traceability, architecture alignment, and interfaces are mature and delivered on-time with quality.
  • Drive V&V strategy across HIL, breadboards, and benches to support key roadmap delivery.
  • Coordinate with Software Engineering and Supplier partners to manage release strategy and content.
  • Act as the single point for BlueCruise and Situational Awareness delivery status, risks, and roadmap decisions.
  • Translate complex technical trade-offs into clear, actionable insights for engineering leads, platform/program leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Foster a culture of safety, retrospective driven action, and continuous improvement across the delivery ecosystem.
