Job summary

TekWissen is seeking an ADAS Systems and Software Engineer for a 12-month, onsite assignment in Ann Arbor, MI. You will contribute to developing and validating advanced driver assistance software and vehicle systems, working with global teams and suppliers to deliver production-ready features.

The role requires hands-on experience in automotive engineering, embedded software, and system integration, with flexibility for domestic/international travel up to 20% and occasional after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical/Systems Eng.
• 2+ years in automotive engineering with ADAS/embedded software
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically/internationally
• Experience leading technical projects or supplier workstreams

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional activities across software, controllers, sensors, and vehicle validation.
• Analyze complex system behavior to identify root causes and countermeasures.
• Coordinate supplier deliverables, schedules, and validation status.
• Collaborate with teams in Japan and global partners on milestones.
• Define and validate system and software requirements for controllers and interfaces.
• Support software/hardware simulation, bench testing, and validation reporting.
• Share knowledge to strengthen project execution and product quality
