Job summary
Vertage Inc. in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an experienced ADAS Systems & Software Engineer II to lead development, integration, testing, and validation of advanced driver-assistance systems and software.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support vehicle programs from development through production readiness, including diagnostics, testing, and supplier coordination. Local candidates preferred for onsite work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience in automotive engineering, vehicle systems, embedded software, or controls
- Experience with systems integration, validation, and testing
- Knowledge of vehicle communication networks and diagnostics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Support vehicle systems integration and software development activities
- Analyze software, controller, network, and vehicle-level issues
- Perform root cause analysis and develop technical solutions
- Coordinate technical activities with suppliers and engineering teams
- Review and validate system and software requirements
- Support simulation, bench testing, and vehicle validation efforts
- Participate in diagnostics, issue resolution, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with global teams to support project milestones
