Job summary

Harbinger Motors is expanding its ADAS team and seeks a Software Test Engineer, ADAS, to validate the complete ADAS system with a black-box approach. You will bench-test CDC, ADCU, and ADCU Pro, ensuring alignment with L2+ feature rollouts.

The role requires 2–3+ years of ADAS validation experience, hands-on bench testing, HIL, and familiarity with CAN/CANFD, Automotive Ethernet, and tools like IPG Carmaker or dSPACE ASM. Proficiency in Python automation and Polarion/Jama is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of engineering experience in ADAS testing.
• Experience with end-to-end validation of ADAS systems.
• Hands-on bench-level testing and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL).
• Experience testing L2+ features such as AEB, FCW and LCC.
• Strong networking knowledge of CAN, CANFD, Automotive Ethernet.
• Familiarity with environment simulation software (IPG Carmaker or dSPACE ASM).
• Proven ability to automate tests using Python, AutomationDesk or ECUTest.
• Experience with requirements management tools like Polarion or Jama.

Responsibilities

• Lead bench-level testing for CDC, ADCU, and ADCU Pro.
• Validate the integrated ADAS system for L2+ rollout.
• Adopt a black-box testing approach, controlling variables and verifying results.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all tests and validation results.
