Job summary

Bosch Group in the United States is seeking an ADAS Software Engineering Intern to help develop a PoC showcasing ADAS features. You will modify existing C++ and Python code, build visualization and validation frameworks, and collaborate with the ADAS team on requirements and integration!

As an ADAS Software Engineering Intern, you will work with our ADAS software team to develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) that supports the testing and demonstration of existing and new ADAS features.

This role offers hands‑on experience in building visualization and validation frameworks used for showcasing ADAS functionality. You will collaborate with a highly cooperative team while also contributing independently to technical development tasks.

This position requires in‑person presence, as the work involves direct interaction with development vehicles, including software build, flashing, and in‑vehicle testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a PoC to test and demonstrate ADAS features
• Work with ADAS teams to understand feature requirements and integration needs
• Support development of visualization or simulation capabilities for ADAS features
• Modify and enhance existing C++ and Python code
• Assist in building, flashing, and deploying software to test vehicles
• Perform hands‑on testing and validation of ADAS functionality in vehicles
• Document development work, design decisions, and usage instructions

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field (minimum 5 semesters completed)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative environment
• Ability to understand and modify C++ and Python code
• Willingness to work on‑site and support in‑vehicle development and testing activities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of graphics rendering concepts (e.g., OpenGL, Godot, or similar frameworks)
• Exposure to computer vision and/or machine learning concepts
