Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced ADAS instrumentation engineer to lead testing and troubleshooting across radar, camera, and ultrasonic systems. You will develop data tools in MATLAB/CAN and support vehicle and virtual validation methods, improving test efficiency and collaboration with suppliers.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, cross-functional teamwork, and initiative in advancing ADAS features and system validation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
3+ years in ADAS feature/system development with radars, cameras, or ultrasonic sensors.
Troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
Experience with automotive interfaces: CAN, CANFD, Autosar, Auto-Ethernet.
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and virtual validation methods (VIL/HIL/MIL).

Responsibilities

Lead or support vehicle instrumentation testing and troubleshooting.
Develop MATLAB, CAN, Python tools for data collection and analysis.
Support ADAS feature/system validation testing and development (vehicle and virtual).
Deliver efficiency improvements in test operations via process development and tools creation.
Coordinate root-cause analysis with internal and external parties.
