Job summary

Applus IDIADA is seeking a Driver Operator to gather data to customer specifications across North America. The role involves driving vehicles on predefined routes, operating data acquisition systems, and documenting observations with precision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 5 years of licensed driving experience, and a clean driving record for the last 3 years; ADAS experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 5 years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
• Experience with ADAS features is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out driving services on vehicles per customer specs.
• Drive along predefined routes across diverse terrain and weather conditions.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and post-shift checks.
• Operate data acquisition systems and ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations.
• Follow project manager instructions and report findings daily.
• Maintain confidential documentation.
• Assist data acquisition and tagging of objects, obstacles, and anomalies.
