Job summary

You will create concepts, set specifications, and develop layouts while negotiating with suppliers and coordinating across teams.

Responsibilities include producing 2D drawings, supporting prototyping and manufacturing, performing design feasibility and cost analyses, selecting materials, and reporting

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering design for automotive or ADAS systems.
• Experience creating concepts, specs, and layouts for components.
• Proven ability to coordinate with suppliers and evaluate technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Create concept, specification setting and layout creation and negotiation capability.
• Develop layouts and 2D drawings for components and assemblies.
• Support prototyping, fabrication and manufacturing activities for parts.
• Conduct design feasibility, cost analysis, and material selection.
• Report research and test results in technical formats; communicate with suppliers.
