Job summary

Applus IDIADA is seeking a Vehicle Test Driver in Michigan to support data collection across North America. You will drive test vehicles on predefined routes, collect observations, and document results in the Data Acquisition system, collaborating with project managers and engineers.

The role requires a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and at least five years of licensed driving; experience with ADAS features is highly preferred and you must be comfortable with extended road periods

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Minimum five years of licensed driving experience.
• Must have a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
• ADAS experience is highly preferred and a drug-free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out various driving services on vehicles in line with customer specifications.
• Drive and operate vehicles across predefined routes through varying terrain and weather conditions.
• Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and related tasks.
• Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Drive vehicles safely and follow project manager instructions.
• Record observations and document results clearly in the Data Acquisition system.
