Job summary

Nex Automotive is seeking an ADAS Technician to support collision repair with pre- and post-repair scans and ADAS calibrations. You will work on-site in the Greater Sacramento area, using OEM and aftermarket tools, documenting results and ensuring compliance with procedures.

Ideal candidates have a foundational interest in automotive diagnostics, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of automotive systems or strong interest in learning automotive diagnostics.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to read, interpret, and learn from manufacturer service information.
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, smartphones, and diagnostic scan tools.
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accurate documentation.
• Willingness to learn ADAS-related systems and calibration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-repair diagnostic scans on vehicles using aftermarket and OEM scan tools.
• Read and learn from manufacturer service information to identify required calibrations.
• Document scan results and upload findings to repair orders.
• Perform ADAS calibration procedures following manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct dynamic calibrations and drive tests as needed.
• Transport customer vehicles for additional repair services if required.
• Initiate repair orders and estimates based on scan results and data.
• Ensure scan documentation is clear and compliant with procedures.
