Job summary

Jobtailor in Columbia, SC invites applicants to join a paid Calibration Technician Apprenticeship with mentorship and hands-on training. You will learn to perform Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations, follow OE specifications, and support a busy production shop from day one.

Throughout the seven-month program you’ll advance from Apprentice to Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration, with initial training, virtual support, and ongoing education on the latest vehicle

Qualifications

Be at least 21+ years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal.
Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
Previous automotive experience is nice to have, but not required.

Responsibilities

Complete a paid apprenticeship with mentorship and training.
Learn to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations.
Follow OE specifications and repair standards.
Develop calibration technician skills across a wide range of manufacturers.
Participate in initial training, virtual support, and continuing education on new vehicle technology.
Progress from Calibration Technician Apprentice to Protech Calibration Technician or On-Site Calibration by the end of the seventh month.
Gain hands-on experience within a production shop.
