Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois offers a paid apprenticeship as a Protech Calibration Technician Apprentice. You will learn to perform a wide range of Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations and follow OE specifications and repair standards.

You will gain experience across a wide range of vehicle manufacturers, participate in initial training, virtual support, and continuing education on new vehicle technology.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks.
• Nice to have, but not required: Previous automotive experience.
• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal.
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the ability to perform Advanced Driver Assistance System calibrations while adhering to OE specifications and repair standards.
• Capable of gaining hands-on experience in a production environment and adapting to new vehicle technologies.
• Participate in training, virtual support, and continuing education on evolving vehicle systems.
