Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join the San Marcos team in California. This role supports emergency equipment operations, with a yard and warehouse for large machines and parts.

The position requires hands-on functionality, self-management, and the ability to prioritize tasks daily. Training on powered equipment will be provided, and standard hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
Proficient with shipping/receiving processes and material handling.
Ability to enter and maintain records in ERP/inventory systems.
Reads and follows procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
Works well independently and in fast-paced teams.
Willing to complete powered industrial truck training and certification.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory and equipment; report discrepancies.
Process, transfer, locate, and maintain inventory records in the system.
Pick, pack, label, stage, and ship parts and equipment with accurate documentation.
Conduct cycle counts and audits; investigate variances and locate items.
Load/unload deliveries using approved equipment and follow safety procedures.
