At Swim Angelfish, we specialize in teaching private, semi-private, and small-group lessons for children who face unique challenges—including autism, anxiety, motor difficulties, trauma, sensory sensitivities, and more.
Prior swim teaching experience is a plus, but don't worry if you're new to it—we provide all the training you need, including our Swim Whisperer Certification (online course included!).

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Recreational therapy, special education or early childhood education recommended.
CPR and First-aid Certification up to date within first 30 days of hire.
Recommended: Current Starfish Certification or equivalent (WSI, YMCA, ARC) up to date and active.
Swim Whisperer level 1, 2, 3, 4 certificate up to date and active.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum of 3 months experience working as a swim instructor.
Minimum of 3 months experience working with people with special needs.
Minimum of 3 months experience working with the pediatric population.
Working knowledge of people with autism and special needs, ability to connect with people of all abilities and all ages.
Must have reliable transportation.
