Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Substitute, Short Term Substitute, or Educator License.
• Able to work effectively with administrators, staff, students and community members.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion with students and staff.
• Proficient in computers and software (databases, spreadsheets, word processing).

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons according to provided plans left by the regular teacher.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a conducive learning environment.
• Supervise students during class hours and monitor behavior and attendance.
• Assist students with assignments and answer questions.
• Adapt teaching approaches to different grade levels and learners.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to address concerns and progress.
