Schoolforce Solutions is seeking an Adapt ive Special Education Teacher for the school year in North Carolina. The role offers an hourly rate between $35.00 and $46.00, with overtime paid at time-and-a-half for hours beyond 40 per week.

You will develop IEPs, deliver differentiated instruction, and coordinate with therapists, teachers, and families to promote student success in inclusive settings. A NC license and fingerprint check are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education from an accredited program.
• North Carolina Professional Educator’s License in Special Education (NCDPI).
• Adaptive Curriculum (AC) or General Curriculum (GC) licensure preferred.
• Iep development and implementation experience.
• Fingerprint clearance and background check required.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement IEPs to support students with disabilities.
• Provide differentiated instruction in various settings.
• Adapt lesson plans and strategies for diverse learning needs.
• Assess and monitor progress using data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with general ed teachers, therapists, and staff.
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and conferences.
• Maintain records compliant with NCDPI and IDEA.
• Implement BIPs and classroom management strategies.
