  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.

Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking candidates with distinct interpersonal abilities for the position of Adaptive Skills Trainer/Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidates will derive energy and motivation from helping others, possess a solid level of compassion and emotional intelligence, and have strong attention to detail to recall specific moments in sometimes stressful situations. Applicants need to have the capacity to understand and positively influence the emotions and behaviors of others while maintaining a high degree of self-awareness and accountability. Creativity in problem-solving and an adaptable approach to unexpected challenges are critical attributes for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement adaptive skills training programs tailored to individual client needs.
  • Utilize behavior analysis techniques to influence positive behavioral changes.
  • Provide direct support and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Collect and analyze data on client behavior and progress.
  • Develop and maintain respectful rapport with clients, families, and supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in home and community care, ADLs, and direct support.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
  • Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation with good-standing auto insurance.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check (Clean DOJ/FBI record).
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
