Job summary

The City of Napa is seeking a Part-Time Extra Help Recreation Aide to support the Adaptive Recreation program. You will help lead and supervise activities, interact with participants, and assist staff to run inclusive events for individuals with disabilities.

This role emphasizes friendliness, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced community setting. Must be available for at least 20 hours per month, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math and statistics
• Effective customer service techniques
• Computer applications related to the work
• Proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and sentence structure

Responsibilities

• Lead recreational activities at Parks and Recreation centers and community sites.
• Participate enthusiastically with program participants and staff.
• Provide guidance to participants in conducting activities and events.
• Assist professional staff in planning, organizing, and conducting recreation activities.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
