Job summary

City of Sacramento is seeking a part-time seasonal staff member to support indoor and outdoor recreation programs for individuals with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. Under supervision, you will help lead activities, assist with organizing socials, trips, and events, and help prepare promotional materials.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; must be at least 18; willing to work evenings, weekends, or overnight at camps; completion of Mandatory Reporter

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading, teaching and conducting recreation activities.
• Assist in organizing socials, tournaments, dances, festivals, camping trips, field trips, and special events.
• Assist in the preparation of programs, announcements, bulletins and related materials needed to promote program activities.
• Assist participants with feeding, bathroom needs, lifting, and other services, as needed.
