Arbor Associates is seeking a licensed Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Teacher for a long-term contract placement at a public school in East Longmeadow, MA. You will design and deliver individualized adaptive physical education to students with diverse needs in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Adaptive Physical Education teacher with MA licensure.
• Experience delivering individualized PE to students with diverse needs.
• Ability to collaborate with special education and related service providers.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver individualized adaptive physical education aligned with each student’s IEP goals.
• Assess student motor skills, fitness, and functional movement to inform programming.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, occupational and physical therapists, and related service providers.
• Modify activities and environments to ensure safe, meaningful participation for all students.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in IEP meetings as required.
