Job summary

Coronado High School in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking an Instructional Support Paraeducator to assist a certified teacher, adapt curriculum, and monitor students' progress. You will administer tests and help document behavior and outcomes of student activities.

Responsibilities include one-on-one and group tutoring, behavior monitoring, preparing materials, grading, and entering student data in computer systems. You will attend training sessions and communicate with parents as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of educational or clerical experience.
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC) required.

Responsibilities

• Assists teacher by helping with classroom instruction and adapting materials.
• Provides one-on-one or group tutoring to students as needed.
• Monitors students' behavior and escorts them on campus.
• Prepares classroom for activities and organizes homework folders.
• Assists with grading papers and follows daily routines.
• Attends in-service training and related meetings.
• Participates in testing and updates student information in computer systems.
• Maintains bulletin boards, supplies, and contacts parents.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
