Job summary

GYMGUYZ North Columbus in Greenwich, Connecticut is looking for a Certified Personal Trainer to provide personalized fitness instruction, particularly for clients with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. You will follow tailored workout programs and offer the highest level of client service.

Responsibilities include adapting exercises, conducting assessments, and maintaining sessions via scheduling software. The role also emphasizes motivation and safety in various environments. A strong understanding of fitness, nutrition, and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Certified in CPR/AED.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow the workout program developed during client assessment.
• Choose customized exercises to meet client needs.
• Demonstrate exercises and ensure correct client performance.
• Complete session notes after each training session.
• Conduct client reassessments every 4-6 weeks.
• Maintain client sessions through GYMGUYZ scheduling software.
• Collect and secure payments from clients as needed.
• Provide a flexible schedule for client appointments.
