Special Education Teacher (Adaptive Curriculum) provides specialized instruction and support for students in adaptive curriculum, middle-school ECGC, and elementary ED general curriculum programs. The role is a 36-week contract based in Bethel, NC, with competitive compensation up to $52 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience supporting students in special education settings, including adaptive curriculum and educational or exceptional-disability programs.
• Experience supporting middle-school ECGC, elementary adaptive curriculum, and elementary ED general curriculum programs.
• Must meet standard requirements for the assignment and be prepared to work a daytime schedule in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students participating in adaptive curriculum programs.
• Support students in middle-school ECGC and elementary ED general curriculum settings as assigned.
• Deliver instruction aligned with students' educational needs and the school's special education program requirements.
• Promote a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with school staff and follow facility-specific assignment, scheduling, and orientation requirements.
