What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• Communicate effectively with parents and families to meet the needs and goals of the participant
• Ensure swimmer safety
• Develop safety skills in and around the water
• Work to add functional mobility to the swimmer
• Creates a fun water environment to help our participants with special abilities achieve their highest potential
• Document each session with swimmer after every visit

PositionRequirements

• At least 3 years experience teaching typical swim lessons
• Experience working with special needs population
• Consistency and reliability A MUST
• Understanding of medical terminology and precautions
• Flexibility and ability to teach a small group (1:3 ratio)
• Must be CPR/AED certified
