Job summary

CFD Research Corporation in Huntsville, AL, is seeking experienced Ada Software Engineers to join a team developing secure software for high-assurance environments. You will follow the Software Development Plan to analyze requirements, perform OO design, write code and unit tests, and support integration and delivery.

Candidates should have 3+ years in Ada programming, container-based microservices experience, and hold a Final Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience with Ada programming.
• Three or more years of experience in development and/or hands-on technical troubleshooting support of container-based microservices architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting skills for tough technical challenges.
• Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Aerospace Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university.
• Active/Final Secret Clearance

Job Description

CFD Research is seeking experienced Ada Software Engineers to be part of a team developing technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years experience and/or knowledge in Ada programming, along with experience in Containerization. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience with Ada programming
• Three or more years of experience in development and/or hands‑on technical troubleshooting support of container‑based microservices architectures
• Experience troubleshooting skills for tough technical challenges
• Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi‑disciplined teams
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Aerospace Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university
• Active/Final Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience as a Software Engineer specializing in DevSecOps
• Experience with one or more of the following: Angular, Docker/Podman, GitFlow, Gitlab, HTML/CSS, Javascript, Jira, Node.js, Keycloak, Kubernetes, Linters, SonarQube, Trivy, ReactJS and other JS based frameworks experience
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements

Location

This role is based in the Huntsville, AL area, and is 100% onsite. Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess an Active secret security clearance.
