Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking an Accessibility Consultant to perform on-site accessibility assessments of the built environment across the United States in accordance with the ADA and current building codes.

The role involves reviewing drawings, measuring conditions, and documenting findings with clear recommendations. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of ADA Standards, IBC, CBC, ICC A117.1, strong report writing skills, and the ability to work independently while

Qualifications

• ADA/Accessibility knowledge and applying standards (ADA, IBC, ICC A117.1)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret codes
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site accessibility assessments of existing facilities, new construction, and alterations per ADA and codes
• Review drawings and documents for accessibility compliance
• Measure and document conditions; cite applicable codes clearly
• Prepare organized technical reports with findings, references and recommendations
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure consistent methodology and documentation
• Travel to project sites across the United States
