Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for healthcare marketing? Our national advertising agency client is seeking an experienced Account Director to lead and manage strategic and tactical marketing efforts for prominent national healthcare clients. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact without direct reports, focusing on collaboration and client success.

Kansas City area candidates are preferred, but our client will consider remote US-based employees who are eligible to work in the US with no restrictions or sponsorship requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison for large national healthcare clients, understanding their business objectives and delivering innovative marketing solutions.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that encompass both digital and traditional channels, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including creative, media, and analytics, to execute campaigns effectively and efficiently.
  • Healthcare Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of the healthcare industry to navigate complex regulatory environments and deliver compliant marketing initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze campaign performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in the advertising agency environment, with a strong track record in healthcare marketing.
  • Demonstrated career stability with a focus on long-term client relationships.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and with large client organizations.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing strategies and execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to do planned travel 10-15% to client sites and various trade shows and conferences.
