Job summary

The RN at Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital provides acute care nursing, supervising and evaluating patient care, and coordinating with physicians and staff. The role requires Kansas RN licensure and the ability to respond swiftly to changing clinical conditions.

ACLS, PALS, and TNCC must be obtained within one year of employment. At least 1 year of experience as a charge nurse or ER nurse is preferred; a negotiable, nationally competitive salary and excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Shift 6am - 6pm
• Shift 6pm - 6am

Position Overview

The RN assigns, supervises, and evaluates the nursing care for each patient, including patients in swing bed. Communicate with physicians/Director of Nursing Services/co-workers, as appropriate, about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, can perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required within one year of employment. All charge nurses and emergency room nurses must have at least 1 year of experience and show qualities necessary for these roles.
