Kindred Hospital North Florida - Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care within the nursing process, coordinate care with the medical team, and participate in discharge planning.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license, BCLS certification, ACLS preferred, and at least six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN/ADN/Diploma).
Current state RN licensure and BCLS certification.
ACLS preferred; 6 months M/S acute care experience listed as desirable.

Responsabilités

Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
Develop and coordinate patient care plans with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
Education of patient and family on pain management, medications, and discharge needs.
Document assessments, care plans, and interventions in medical records per policy.
Assist physicians with examinations and procedures; ensure safe medication administration.
Participate in discharge planning and care coordination to optimize outcomes.
