Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Adult Rehab Services unit within an acute care hospital setting in Oklahoma City.

The role requires acute and trauma experience and a minimum of one year of OT practice. The selected candidate will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement plans under physician direction, while coordinating discharge planning and equipment needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OT required.
• Minimum of one year of OT experience required.
• Current BLS certification from AHA required upon hire.
• Oklahoma OT license required if applicable.
• Strong knowledge of OT principles, practices and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, treatment planning and implementation under physician direction.
• Interpret physician referrals and select appropriate standardized evaluation procedures.
• Design and fabricate adaptive equipment and orthotic devices as needed.
• Assist with discharge planning including equipment ordering and home therapy instruction.
• May supervise students.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility to be eligible.
