Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Acute Rehab Unit. The role requires providing comprehensive OT services on a per diem basis, with 2 Saturdays per month schedule and hours 8am-4:30pm.

The position requires an OT degree from an AOTA-accredited program, Illinois licensure or eligibility, NBCOT certification, and CPR from the American Heart Association. Collaboration with physicians and nursing staff is essential to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• The completion of a degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited school, or the equivalent.
• Current Illinois licensure or eligibility.
• Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association.

Aufgaben

• Assesses, treats, and cares for patients in the assigned area.
• Implements assessment/treatment based on patient developmental stage.
• Interprets patient communication (verbal and nonverbal).
• Evaluates functional abilities using upper extremity strength, ROM, pain, sensation, coordination, ADLs, transfers, cognitive, perceptual, visual and home management skills.
