Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00am to 6:30pm.
Location: Banner Desert 1400 S Dobson Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202. Team members will float between main imaging department and OR on the 2nd floor and to the Emergency room imaging department on the 1st floor.
Day to day: Imaging technologist will perform imaging studies on adult and pediatric inpatients, outpatients, and ER patients within the hospital. The studies performed will include general x-rays, fluoro, and OR cases. The imaging department services a variety of patients and the skills needed include teamwork, adaptability, time management and problem solving.
Minimum Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure by state regulatory agency if applicable. BLS certification is required. This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of related experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, ability to analyze data and solve problems. We are open to hiring new grads who have completed or are nearing to completing a x-ray program.
Position Summary: This position performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.
