Job summary

Advance Rehabilitation seeks an Acute Care Physical Therapist to join our Southeast team. The ideal candidate will deliver patient-centered care with evidence-based methods and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize outcomes.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating and implementing treatment plans, supervising PT assistants, and documenting progress while participating in in-house residency and ongoing education programs. New grads welcome and supported.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Georgia PT license and CPR certification.
• Experience in exercise, sports rehab, and manual therapy.
• New graduates welcome and enthusiastic personality.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care using established protocols and guidelines.
• Document evaluation, progress, and discharge instructions.
• Oversee care by PT assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Set written plans of care with measurable goals and timelines.
• Deliver PT programs to improve mobility, function, and independence.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing, case management, and insurers.
