CommonSpirit Health is seeking an RN for acute psychiatry in San Bernardino, CA. You will assess adults, administer medications, and coordinate care to help patients recover from mental health crises.

The role requires a CA RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of psychiatric RN experience. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in comprehensive discharge planning, ensuring patient safety and education.

Formación

• One year of RN experience required.
• Active RN license in California.
• BLS American Heart Association.
• ACLS American Heart Association.
• Graduate of accredited RN program required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess mental states and plan care with admissions, shift and discharge assessments.
• Administer medications and monitor effects and side effects.
• Identify risk factors and perform crisis interventions to ensure safety.
• Lead or support group therapy and coping-skill activities.
• Coordinate with doctors, social workers, and therapists to set goals and document progress.
• Educate patients and families on illness management and discharge planning.
