The LPN/LVN - Acute Psych at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs provides essential nursing care on 9A under the supervision of RNs and the Nurse Manager.

The role includes participating in daily team huddles, ensuring quality of care, administering medications, evaluating patients, and reporting changes in conditions within scope of practice. Required are a state-approved practical nursing program and English proficiency; candidates may be referred pending licensure/certification.

Competenze

• Must be a graduate of a state-approved practical or vocational nursing program
• Proficient in English (spoken and written) as required by policy
• Ability to provide nursing care under RN/MD supervision
