The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a PRN therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The role provides direct clinical services to patients and families under supervision, including psychosocial assessments and individual, family and group therapy, with a focus on evidence-based practices.

This on-site position requires a Master’s degree in social services or mental health, a CPR and de-escalation certification, and weekly supervision.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social services or mental health services required.
• Weekly supervision is required; cannot practice independently.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision, participate in patient treatment planning and progress reviews.
• Conduct group, individual or family sessions using evidence-based modalities.
• Provide patient and family education related to psychiatric/substance use issues.
• Perform psychosocial assessments focusing on key components with patient involvement.
• Document patient care promptly and accurately, with supervisor co-signature.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and communicate changes to the team.
• Plan and document post-hospitalization aftercare; assist with case management.
