Job summary

The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place is seeking an Acute Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team on a full-time, onsite basis in Williamsburg, VA. You will provide psychosocial assessments and individual, family, and group therapies under supervision, while contributing to treatment planning and discharge planning.

Requires a Master’s degree in social services or mental health services, eligibility for entry-level licensure, and CPR/de-escalation certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social services or mental health services required.
• Cannot practice independently; requires supervision weekly.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required (training provided on hire).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments and develop plans of care under supervision.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy as assigned.
• Facilitate psychoeducational training and family meetings.
• Assist with discharge planning and linkage to outside resources.
• Develop and review treatment plans and document progress.
