Job summary

Banner Health Casper is seeking an Acute Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with packaging, distribution, non-sterile compounding, and record-keeping. You will help prepare IV meds and total parenteral nutrition, and support the team in ensuring accuracy and timely medication delivery.

Responsibilities include inventory management, use of dispensing systems, and training peers while maintaining regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Requires Pharmacy Technician licensure and active Pharmacy Technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.
• Ability to perform moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a handheld calculator.
• Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify medications and items for reorder to maintain inventory.
• Manage users in automated dispensing database and troubleshoot issues.
