Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency invites applications for an RN Clinical Nurse on our Oncology Medsurg Unit. You will deliver high-quality patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, employing evidence-based practices and the nursing process to optimize outcomes.

You will participate in rounds, documentation, and coordinated care, while mentoring junior staff and supporting professional development in a fast-paced oncology setting.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma or higher; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN license (single-state or compact) and BLS certification required.
• < 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred; clinical hours from nursing programs required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation using nursing process.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and shared decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to Georgia Nurse Practice Act and clinical standards; maintain professional ethics.
• Collaborate with healthcare team through rounds, documentation, and fostering a respectful environment.
• Engage in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and care quality initiatives.
• Support resource management by planning patient care and developing protocols.
• Serve as a preceptor/mentor to foster future nursing workforce.
