Job summary

HCA Florida Northside Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL is hiring a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our patient-centered care team. You will provide therapeutic services, conduct initial assessments, and implement treatment plans in line with hospital policies and applicable laws.

This full-time role requires a Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy (Master's preferred), an active Florida OT license, BLS, and the ability to document care and communicate clearly with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy; Master’s preferred.
• Active Florida OT license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current FIM (Functional Independence Measure) required (within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Treat disabilities, injuries and disease using therapeutic techniques per physician prescriptions.
• Record and document patient observations, treatment and changes.
• Monitor, analyze and review clinical data.
• Reevaluate and modify treatment plans and goals based on patient performance.
• Communicate care clearly to patients and families.
