Job summary

Hmixray is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, guide patients through procedures, and support physicians with prompt, accurate responses.

A focus on safety, data protection, and professional interaction with patients and staff is essential. Requirements include ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, state license if applicable, BLS, and at least one year of imaging experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively as needed.
• Operate MRI parameters (TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, FOV) to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam and address questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician inquiries regarding patient exams.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications.
• Protect company property and patient data, including portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.

You Will:

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
• Must have BLS certification

• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
