Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in alignment with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The role includes weekend work and on-site responsibilities in a vibrant care environment.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, GA RN licensure in good standing, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience as an RN preferred.
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Professional Nurse plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
