Qualifications

• Primary Medical Qualification and GMC registration are essential.
• Entry onto GMC Specialist Register within six months of appointment date is required.
• CCT in Acute or General Internal Medicine is required (or imminent).
• Applicants should possess eligibility to practice medicine in the UK and be on the Specialist Register within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical decision‑making in AS/SDEC and acute pathways.
• Support junior clinicians in the acute setting and on the medical ward.
• Lead and participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching within Acute Medicine.
• Be available for 7‑day on‑call coverage and contribute to audit and governance.
