Job summary

A medical recruitment agency is seeking a Consultant in Accident & Emergency for a permanent/fixed term post in Northern England. The role entails managing patients and participating in out of hours on-call shifts. Successful candidates must have significant A&E experience, GMC registration, and an ability to lead. The position offers a competitive salary between £109,725 and £145,478 annually, plus relocation support and yearly salary increases.

Qualifications

• Must have previous emergency department experience in the UK/Ireland at Consultant level.
• Must have CCT or evidence of equivalent competency.
• Must have full registration with GMC and be on the Specialist register.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients in the Accident & Emergency department.
• Participate in out of hours on-call commitments.
• Lead modernisation of the emergency care pathway.

Skills
