Telecare Corporation is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide recovery-focused mental health services at our facility in San Leandro, California. As part of the Telecare Family, Willow Rock is a 16‑bed Psychiatric Health Facility in Alameda County for adolescents 12‑17 years old who are experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms.
On Call AM PM or NOC days may vary.
Expected starting wage range is $29.02 - $47.00 per hour. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and is subject to union membership requirements upon hire.
Shift differentials: 6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight Shift. Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift.
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. Provides safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, squat, kneel, twist, push, pull and lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less as well as to frequently walk, stand, bend, reach and do simple and power grasping. The position requires manual deviation, repetition and dexterity as well as hazardous exposure (Blood Borne Pathogens, Hospital Waste, Chemical & Infectious).
