Renown Health seeks an Acute Float Pool RN for Night shift in Reno, NV. The RN will float to acute care units across Renown hospitals, delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements include Nevada RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS eligibility. One year of acute critical care experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

The RN is accountable for individualized patient care and outcomes over an entire episode of care. This position may be utilized as a resource RN the Acute Services Division, including Renown Regional Medical Center and Renown South Meadows in the units where competencies are assessed and demonstrated.## Nature and ScopeThis position must provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families.This position must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, motor/sensor, psychosocial, and safety appropriate to the age of the patient served and meet standards of quality as measured by the unit/department special populations competency standards.When possible, the family or those significant to the family are considered as part of the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation efforts of this position. The Acute Float Pool RN Critical Care coordinates care between other professionals.Evidence-based nursing practice, along with critical thinking skills are required to provide optimally safe patient care when interacting with internal and external contacts and exercising judgment and making decisions.
