Job summary

The Lutheran Health Network in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient dialysis team. You will perform hemodialysis, CRRT, and peritoneal dialysis while delivering patient-centered care and adhering to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, equipment setup, and collaboration with physicians and nurses to ensure safe, quality care for adults with kidney failure during hospital stays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum 1 year dialysis nursing experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team; dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the dialysis setting.
• Sets up and operates dialysis machines; monitors patients before/during/after treatment.
• Administers prescribed medications and documents administration.
• Collaborates with physicians and nurses to develop and evaluate care plans.
